The Audi A5 can be purchased as a coupe or a convertible. Each of these styles has three trim options: the Premium, the Premium Plus and the Prestige. The Premium trim brings with it fog lamps, speed control, power adjustable front seating, exclusive Audi MMI technology, a CD player, sound system with ten speakers, and satellite radio. The coupe style offers a tilting sunroof and the convertible has a power folding soft roof top. Optional components include iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, xenon head lamps, and enhanced exterior detailing. The Premium Plus trim gains heated front seating, memory settings for the driver seat, and tri region air management. Voice command, navigation technology, a rear visibility camera system, HD radio, park sensory in the rear and a color trip computer display are available options. The Prestige has all of that and remote entry and start, adaptive head lamps, blind spot notification, and a premium audio system. Options on the Premium trim include adaptive speed control, and Audi Drive Select technology. A Sport package can be purchased with all three trim choices. It offers sport seating, suspension and shift paddles. A Comfort package is available on the convertible. It comes with cooled front seating with lumbar support, a heating system at the neck level and enhanced leather.
The Audi A5 has high crash protection safety scores. It comes with the following standard safety components: antilock brakes, side mounted airbags in the front, curtain airbags along the sides, stability and traction control, engine immobilization, passenger airbag deactivation controls, whiplash reduction head restraints, tire pressure tracking, a remote theft protection alarm system, rear door safety locks, brake assist, turning signals incorporated into the exterior mirrors, along with a pre and post collision system.
